The length of therapy really depends on the individual. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy while I have seen several clients on a long-term basis to help support them through various life events and experiences.

If your insurance provider offers out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide a Superbill (e.g. receipt of services) at your request that you can submit to your insurance for eligible reimbursement.
To find out if you have out-of-network benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask if you have out-of-network coverage for behavioral health. If so, check to see if there is a deductible and if it has been met, and what percentage of fees, if any, will be covered. Your insurance provider may ask you about billing codes. The codes that will be used are:
Intake (first session): 90791
Individual therapy: 90834
If finances are a critical part of your decision-making, seeing an in-network therapy provider is a good choice. You can find information on in-network therapists on your plan’s website or directories such as Psychology Today or therapyden.com.

Yes, you can use a pre-tax Flex or Health Savings Account for therapy.
Per the No Surprises Act, if you do not intend to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE).
